The Traditional Ruler of Okpeze, HRM, Igwe Innocent Nwaozoemena Onwumere has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for moving the state to enviable heights through the display of unequalled service delivery in his first term in office.
Igwe Onwumere gave the commendation in a message to the successful first term completion of Governor Soludo and his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim.
According to the royal father, the governor has displayed uncommon diligence and governmental professionalism in addressing the needs of all communities in the state.
He expressed delight in the jet speed at which the state has grown under his watch within a few years in office which touched all sectors of the economy.
Igwe Onwumere made special reference to his reforms in the health sector, education sector, Agricultural sector, and the dualization of major trunk A roads in the state.
In the area of security, the royal father lauded his bold advances in restoring the state to normalcy after the dark days of unknown gunmen, rampant kidnappings and other related vices.
He expressed delight that his administration has addressed the issue of finally giving the state a befitting government house and governor’s lodge, breaking the 34-year- old jinx of operating from make shift locations.
In his second missionary journey in the state, Igwe Onwumere appealed to him to consolidate on his achievements.
The royal father conveyed the support of the people of Okpeze to the governor and wished him the best in his second term in office.
