The President of the Obosi Development Union (Women Wing), Lagos Branch, Lady Chika Udeozor, JP, has commended the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, for appointing women into key positions in his administration.
In an interview, Lady Udeozor praised the governor for recognizing the competence and capacity of women in governance.
Reflecting on the governor’s performance in office, she lauded his efforts in transforming the state, especially in the areas of road construction, security, education, healthcare, and peace. She observed that the ongoing expansion of road networks would improve connectivity between communities and stimulate economic activities across the state.
However, Lady Udeozor appealed to the governor to address the challenge of inconsistent power supply, stressing that stable electricity is critical to the state’s development. She noted that reliable power would attract investors and support Anambra’s emergence as a major economic hub.
She also called for sustained efforts to strengthen security across the state, emphasizing the need for continuous improvement in safeguarding lives and property.
Lady Udeozor congratulated Governor Soludo on his inauguration for a second term and prayed for a successful and impactful tenure.
