The House of Representatives aspirant for Ogbaru Federal Constituency in the recently concluded All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) primary election, Hon. Dr. Onyekachukwu Nwokedi (Akaekpuchionwa), has paid tribute to late APGA stalwart, Hon. Chief Engr. Okechukwu Walter Udeze, popularly known as Ajie 10 10, describing him as a selfless leader and a true grassroots politician.
Nwokedi spoke on July 18, during the burial ceremony of the late Udeze at his country home in Umunankwo, Ogbaru Local Government Area.

The late political leader, who died at the age of 64, was remembered for his years of dedicated service to his community and unwavering commitment to the growth of APGA.
Speaking at the funeral, Nwokedi described the deceased as a man of the people whose life was marked by humility, compassion and an enduring commitment to peace, unity and community development.
He noted that Udeze was widely respected for his generosity and willingness to assist others, irrespective of their political or social affiliations.

According to Nwokedi, the late Udeze was among the founding members who laid a solid foundation for APGA in Ogbaru Local Government Area(LGA) and remained steadfast in his loyalty to the party until his death.
He added that the deceased served as spokesperson of the Akaekpuchionwa Movement, where he played a key role in mobilising support for the movement and inspiring members through his dedication, integrity and wise counsel.
Describing his death as a great loss, Nwokedi extended his condolences to the Udeze family, members of the Akaekpuchionwa Movement, APGA faithful and the people of Ogbaru.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and for God to grant his family the strength to bear the loss.
Nwokedi reaffirmed the commitment of the Akaekpuchionwa Movement to promoting good governance, quality representation, youth empowerment, community development and inclusive leadership for the benefit of the people of Ogbaru Federal Constituency.
He urged members of the movement to remain united and continue to uphold the ideals of service, integrity and sacrifice exemplified by the late Udeze.
The burial ceremony attracted several dignitaries, including the Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze; the Mayor of Ogbaru LGA, represented by his deputy, Hon. Charles Umunna; APGA leaders, members of the Akaekpuchionwa Movement, church leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders, friends and political associates.
Many mourners described the late Engr. Okechukwu Walter Udeze as a bridge builder, peace advocate and dedicated grassroots politician whose legacy of loyalty, humility and service will continue to inspire future generations.
