As part of his commitment to a healthier Nnewi North, the Mayor of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, has successfully flagged off and completed the Measles-Rubella Vaccination Campaign for children 0-14 years across Nnewi North.
The exercise, which covered all communities in the LGA, was a huge success.
The vaccination has protected thousands of children from the dangers of measles and rubella diseases that can lead to blindness, hearing loss and other life-threatening complications. This is a major investment in the health and future of children in the area.
The Mayor thanked all health workers, parents and guardians who made the exercise a success.
When health is prioritized, development follows.
