The working Governor of Anambra State Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has started a massive infrastructural development in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) Uli Campus.

The development, which started with road rehabilitation brought happiness, easy access and comfort to the students and residents of Uli.

The Governor who knows the need for easy access and conducive environment for learning, deemed it very necessary and fit to fix the collapsed roads, that have been abandoned by the past administrations.

This development made the Students, residents of Uli and Ihiala LGA to see the working Governor as a redeemer, because their suffering toward road infrastructure, more especially during the rainy season has been a thing of the past.

Reliably, it was gathered that these roads which connected many places and hostels have been neglected by past administrations.

The students, lecturers and residents of the area have been in deep suffering, because of the collapsed roads, more especially during the rainy season.

Many positive reactions were shown by the people and students when contacted.

According to Emeka Onwukwe who is a student of Electrical Engineering, Governor Soludo has relieved the burden the students are facing when going to classes, more especially during rainy season.

Nneka Ujummadu, a student of Mechanical Engineering while reacting, pointed out the highest help of the roads, as regards going to their various hostels after lectures.

In his own reaction, Engr. Ekene Nweke who is a lecturer in Computer Engineering Department applauded the Governor for his rescue mission to the students, lecturers and other road users.

His words “effective learning must come from conducive environment, which access roads to the classrooms is inclusive”.

The students, lecturers and residents of Uli and Ihiala LGA commended the Governor for the massive rehabilitation and urged him no to relent in doing more for university, towns and local government at large.

They showed their confidence and solidarity with the Governor, whom they said that he’s truly Oluatuegwu. People were seen moving freely and happily, within the school premises.
