The National Economic Council (NEC) Implementation Monitoring Committee (IMC) has lauded Anambra State’s drive for innovation and digital transformation following an assessment visit to the Solution Innovation District (SID).
The committee, which visited SID’s permanent site on July 28, undertook a field assessment of key National Economic Council resolutions and innovation initiatives being implemented by the state government.

During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the district’s progress and its mandate to position Anambra as a leading hub for innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and digital talent development.
Members of the team were also updated on flagship programmes and measurable outcomes being driven by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation in collaboration with the Solution Innovation District.

The monitoring exercise formed part of the committee’s nationwide assessment of the implementation of NEC resolutions and the impact of strategic development initiatives across the states.
The visit highlighted Anambra’s commitment to transparency, accountability and the effective implementation of programmes aimed at accelerating digital transformation, stimulating economic growth and promoting sustainable development.
