Evang Arinze Okeke has admonished mothers to be spiritually sensitive in carrying out their sacred call of motherhood.
Evang Okeke preaching during the church service marking the Anglican Mother’s Sunday at the Redemption Church Umunya, urged Mothers to be sensitive, vigilant and prayerfu, describing motherhood as a divine sacred call of grace.
Speaking from the book of 2 Kings 4 verses 8 to 13, he described mothers as spiritual beings adored with spiritual antennas and vessels through which heaven transmits to human, urging them to always draw their strength from God.

Educating mothers on financial control, he tasked mothers to be multi functional, exploring all frontiers, engaging more in politics and leadership roles at their various communities to add value in nation building.
Ealier, the Parish Priest, Revd Edward Bosah, describing motherhood as a divine call of passion and grace with mandate beyond the home admonished mothers to always give their special gift of prayers to their children and communities.

Revd Bosah reminding mothers of their strength, ingenuity and care in challenging unfavourable trends urged them to be more resourceful and courageous.
He added: Today the church honour and celebrate the devotions, contributions and inspiration of Mothers in the family, church and society at large.
