It was a moment of renewed commitment to grassroots political mobilization on September 3, 2025 as the Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, joined other dignitaries to witness the inauguration of the Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS) Ward Executives for Onitsha North LGA.
The well-attended event, which drew party faithful, community leaders, and supporters of the Soludo administration, also had in attendance Hon. Barr. Mimi Ifeoma Azikiwe, Member Representing Onitsha North II Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly.
Speaking at the occasion, Mayor Nwora commended the newly inaugurated executives for their dedication and urged them to work in unity to strengthen support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration. He emphasized that grassroots mobilization remains the backbone of effective governance and sustainable development.
House Member Mimi, in her goodwill message, applauded the vision of APS in fostering inclusivity and political participation across the wards. She called on the executives to serve with sincerity, stressing that their role is critical in ensuring that the dividends of democracy are felt at the community level.
Other stakeholders present described the inauguration as a step in the right direction, highlighting the importance of bridging the gap between government and the people.
The newly sworn-in APS Ward Executives pledged loyalty to the party’s ideals and assured leaders of their readiness to advance the Soludo Agenda through people-oriented programs and grassroots engagement.
With this inauguration, APS Onitsha North sets the pace for stronger political mobilization in Anambra State, as preparations heighten for the future political journey under Governor Soludo’s leadership.
