MADE IN ANAMBRA SHOES, LEATHER PRODUCTS GO GLOBAL AS GOVERNOR SOLUDO APPLAUDS WORLD CLASS SHOE MANUFACTURING IN OGBUNIKE

The Anambra Solution Digital Shoe factory welcomed the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, on an official visit to assess ongoing operations at the state of the art shoe manufacturing factory, located in Ogbunike.

The Governor, who was warmly received by the management and staff of the facility, expressed satisfaction with the level of progress recorded since the commencement of operations in July 2024. He commended the efforts of the Anambra State Small Business Agency (ASBA) and Corporate Vince International Logistics Limited in ensuring the smooth running of the factory, which is positioned to boost industrialization and economic growth in the state.

Addressing the press during the visit, Governor Soludo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting local manufacturers, emphasizing that the digital shoe factory is a testament to Anambra’s potential to compete on a global scale.

Recognizing the factory’s potential, the governor pledged to address one of its most pressing challenges, stable power supply, assuring that his administration is actively working on sustainable solutions to ensure uninterrupted electricity for the facility, enhancing productivity and competitiveness.

He noted that the factory, with its modern equipment comparable to those used in Italy and other developed countries, is well-positioned to meet both local and international demands for high-quality footwears and therefore should be crested PROUDLY ANAMBRA.

“The progress here is impressive and has positioned Anambra as a leading player in the global footwear industry. I am proud of what has been achieved so far, and we will continue to provide the necessary support to ensure its sustainability,” Governor Soludo said. 

He further called on corporate organisations, government agencies and the general public to patronise the Solution factory’s Made in Anambra shoes and leather products, emphasizing that local support is key to sustaining the industrial revolution in the state.

During the tour, the governor inspected various production units and observed the manufacturing process firsthand. The factory which boasts a monthly production capacity of over 960,000 shoes, is expected to significantly contribute to Anambra’s economy by creating job opportunities and fostering entrepreneurship.

The Managing Director/CEO of Anambra Small Business Agency, Mr. Clement Chukwuka, expressed appreciation for the governor’s visit while assuring the agency’s dedication to ensure that the Solution Digital shoe factory remains a model of excellence in Nigeria’s manufacturing sector.
