The Solution Innovation District (SID), has reaffirmed its commitment to youth development and talent nurturing through its participation in the 2026 Inter-House Sports Competition of Community Secondary School, Amichi.
The event, held on June 12 in Amichi, the Chief Executive Officer of SID and Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation, Ms. Chinwe Okoli, represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation, Mr. Ike Anajemba, commended the school for its continued role in shaping young people through discipline, leadership, teamwork and healthy competition.

As an alumna of Community Secondary School, Amichi, Ms. Okoli noted that she remains deeply connected to the institution and its progress, inspiring to see her alma mater continue to nurture young talents, building character through discipline, leadership, teamwork and healthy competition.
She emphasized that its a vision for youth empowerment to extend beyond technology and innovation but supporting initiatives that foster character development, resilience and leadership among young people.

The SID boss noted that such efforts align with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of building a future-ready generation under the “Everything Technology, Technology Everywhere” agenda.
She commended the school management, staff and event organisers for the successful coordination of the competition, applauding the students for their enthusiasm, discipline and outstanding display of sportsmanship throughout the event.

The event brought together students, teachers, parents, alumni and community stakeholders in a colourful celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork and excellence.
Activities featured an impressive march-past by the competing houses, spirited participation by members of staff led by the Principal, Mrs. Regina Oguejiofor, and keenly contested track events involving both junior and senior students.
