The Idemili North Women Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Mrs Victoria Obogwulu, has reaffirmed the commitment of women in the area to supporting the programmes and policies of the Anambra State Government.
Obogwulu made the pledge on July 28, during a courtesy visit by members of the Idemili North APGA Women to the Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation, Dr. Law Mefor, at his office in Awka.

She said the visit was to familiarise with the commissioner and congratulate him on his reappointment for a second term in the Soludo administration.
The women leader pledged the continued support of APGA women in Idemili North for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration and assured him of sustained grassroots mobilisation in support of the government’s development agenda.

Responding, Dr. Law Mefor thanked the delegation for the visit and commended the women for their loyalty to the party and commitment to grassroots mobilisation.
He urged them to intensify mobilisation ahead of future elections, stressing that women remained critical stakeholders in political participation and community development.

The commissioner said Anambra should align with the Federal Government to maximise opportunities for increased federal presence, attract more development and secure greater dividends of democracy for the people.

He also called on the women to sustain their support for Gov. Soludo, noting that the administration’s development initiatives required the collective backing of citizens to achieve lasting impact.
In a vote of thanks, Mrs MaryAnn Anyaegbunam expressed appreciation to the commissioner for the warm reception and reaffirmed the commitment of APGA women in Idemili North to supporting the programmes and policies of the Soludo administration through continued grassroots mobilisation.
