The Anambra State ICT Agency and the Ministry of Information and Value Reformation have deepened their digital collaboration as the upgraded SolutionLens platform moves into operational use by the Ministry.

The development followed a presentation of the upgraded platform to the Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation and members of his team during a working session at the ICT Agency on October 8th.

Welcoming the Commissioner and his team, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICTA, Mr Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and the next phase of SolutionLens, noting the importance of moving from development to practical use.

The Commissioner also welcomed the collaboration, expressing the Ministry’s readiness to work with the ICT Agency to maximize the platform and strengthen the use of technology in the Ministry’s information and communication functions.

The engagement also advanced plans for the formal takeover and official handover of SolutionLens to the Ministry, with discussions focused on ensuring a smooth transition and effective deployment of the platform.

As part of the transition, information officers from the Ministry participated in a hands-on training session designed to familiarize them with the platform and equip them with the practical knowledge required for its effective use.

The officers were also onboarded with official government email addresses created to support their access to SolutionLens, positioning the team to commence work on the platform in earnest.

The engagement further featured a walkthrough of the redesigned official Anambra State Government website, with the ICT Agency Communications and Public Engagement Lead, Angela Nwanodu, taking the Commissioner and his team through its key features and digital services.

The collaboration underscores the State Government’s continued drive to use technology to improve how government communicates, delivers information and engages citizens, with ICTA supporting MDAs to adopt practical digital tools that advance a more connected and responsive public service.

Angela is from the Ministry of Information and Value Reformation, Anambra State.
