Immaculate Heart of Mary Specialist Hospital, Nkpor, on June 24, organised a colourful send-off ceremony for students of the Anambra State College of Nursing, Nkpor, following the successful completion of their one month clinical posting at the hospital.
Speaking during the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Sr. Nkiruka Okafor, said the ceremony was held to recognise the students’ dedication, commitment and enthusiasm for learning throughout their clinical attachment.
Sr. Okafor noted that the students not only acquired valuable practical experience under the guidance of seasoned healthcare professionals but also made meaningful contributions to the hospital during their posting.

She commended them for their discipline, diligence and eagerness to learn, urging them to remain committed to excellence, compassion and ethical practice as they continue their journey towards becoming qualified healthcare professionals.
The ceremony featured moments of appreciation, reflections on the students’ experiences, and goodwill messages celebrating the successful completion of their training.
The hospital management wished the students continued success in their academic pursuits and future careers, expressing confidence that they would make significant contributions to the healthcare sector.
Responding on behalf of the students, the nursing trainees expressed gratitude to the management and staff of Immaculate Heart of Mary Specialist Hospital for their mentorship, support and for providing a conducive environment that enhanced their clinical learning experience.
