The Anambra State Head of Service (HOS) Barr. Ngozi Iwouno, has called on the state workers to adopt a more result-oriented approach on the discharge of their responsibilities.

Speaking during an interactive session with civil servants, the HOS emphasized the need for improved productivity, accountability and efficiency across all the government ministries, departments and agencies.

The call comes amid growing concerns about service delivery and the pace of attitude to work.

According to her, being result oriented goes beyond mere attendance to work, stressing that employees must focus on achieving measurable outcomes that positively impact governance and public service.

“The state government is committed to fostering a culture and expects workers to align with its vision by delivering on assigned responsibilities.”

Barr. Iwouno enjoined workers to embrace professionalism and dedication, adding that consistent performance would not only enhance public trust but also contribute to the overall growth and development of the state.

Workers were also reminded of the importance of accountability and teamwork in achieving government objectives as the administration continues to implement reforms aimed at improving efficiency and prioritizing workers welfare.
