HON. TABANSI-OKOYE OKAYS SOLUDO’S DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

The Member Four in the Local Government Service Commission and former Legislator in the Anambra State House of Assembly Honourable Anthonia Tabansi- Okoye (Esquire) has paid glowing tribute to Governor Chukwuma Soludo For his sound development strategy which has moved Anambra State to enviable heights.
The Commissioner Four in the Local Government Service Commission in a press statement in Awka during the Commission’s 2025 week, acknowledged the great success recorded by the governor in all the 3 Senatorial Zones of the state.
She concurred in the unanimous verdict of the unified Local Government system of the 21 Local Government Areas Of the state which endorsed Governor Soludo for a second term in office.
Barrister Tabansi-Okoye listed some of the achievements of the governor to include the recruitment of eight thousand one hundred and fifteen teachers in both the Primary and Post Primary schools in the state, the provision of free ante natal and free caesarian deliveries for pregnant women in the state public hospitals, the rehabilitation and asphalting of many roads in the 3 Senatorial Zones of the state, the domestication of the Anambra State Homeland security network “Operation Udo- Ga Achi’ which gave birth to “The Agunaechemba’ security outfit which has recorded numerous successes in checking crimes and criminality in the state among other notable achievements.
The Commissioner noted with joy, the impact of the Soludo administration in ensuring a unified Local Government system in the 21 Local Government Areas of the state and the success recorded by the Local Government Service Commission which she is an integral part of.
She expressed satisfaction in being part of the success story and expects workers in the 21 Local Government Areas Of the state to sustain their support for the working Governor of Anambra State who is indeed “Oluatuegwu’.
The Commissioner further commended the governor for giving governance a human face which is visible in the state including in Onitsha South local government area where some major roads have been tarred, some infrastructure developed, among other government presence.
Barrister Tabansi-Okoye remains eternally grateful to governor Soludo for wiping away her tears and vindicating her support for him in the 2010 governorship election when the then former governor Peter Obi was declared winner over him.
According to her, because of the support she gave to Governor Soludo then, she was denied the federal house of representatives election for Onitsha north/Onitsha South in 2015 which she won under the All Progressives Grand Alliance Party.
Her role in the Anambra State House of Assembly as a stout defender of human rights cannot be swept under the carpet.
She facilitated the movement of many bills and anchored many motions in the state assembly.
