The Chairman of Nzukora Nnewi, Hon. Prince Jude Osumuo, has endorsed Hon. Chukwuebuka Ileka as the preferred candidate for the Anambra State House of Assembly seat for Nnewi North Constituency.
Hon. Osumuo said the endorsement followed extensive consultations with grassroots structures across Nnewi’s four quarters and is in line with the town’s zoning arrangement, which favours Otolo community to produce the next representative.
Announcing his support, Hon. Osumuo described Ileka as “the bridge Nnewi needs,” citing his academic background, business experience, and record of community service.
“Nnewi is a commercial hub. We need a lawmaker who understands business, law and governance. Hon. Ebuka Ileka is that bridge,” he stated. “He is accessible, people-friendly, and prepared. If we rally behind him, Nnewi North will not regret it.”
The endorsement has received backing from youth associations, market unions, and women’s groups, who highlighted Ileka’s policy proposals on industrial growth, skills acquisition, and infrastructure as evidence of genuine preparation for legislative duties. “This is not about one man. It is about sending our best to the State Assembly a voice that will be heard, a hand that will work, and a heart that beats for Nnewi,” Hon. Osumuo concluded.
