The Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo Initiative has announced a free one-month computer training programme for secondary school students and youths across Anambra State. The announcement was contained in a notice published on Aug. 19 on the Healthy Living Official Facebook page.
The training is aimed at equipping young people with essential digital skills and preparing them to take advantage of opportunities in an increasingly technology-driven economy. Participants will receive training in basic computer operations, with the goal of improving their digital literacy, confidence and ability to effectively use technology.
According to the organisers, the programme will commence on Aug. 24, and classes will hold three times a week throughout the one-month period. The training venue is the Healthy Living Centre, located at No. 6, Road 13, Udoka Housing Estate, Awka, Anambra State.
The initiative has urged interested secondary school students and youths to register and take advantage of the opportunity to acquire computer skills free of charge. Prospective participants can register through the online form provided on the programme flyer or by scanning the QR code included in the announcement.
The initiative said the programme is part of efforts to provide young people with practical digital skills that can support their education, personal development and future career opportunities.
