Governor Chukwuma Soludo has prioritised safety in the State, marking security as his top agenda for a prosperous second term.
The governor has emphasized that his administration has made significant strides in securing the future, lives and properties of ndi Anambr and would continue in that light in his second term while declaring Anambra State one of the safest in Nigeria.
He made this known while chatting with journalists in Awka during his media round at the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) Complex.
Prof. Soludo further highlighted key initiatives, including the establishment of Agunechemba and Operation Udo Ga Achi which are both state security outfits aimed at combating criminality and restoring peace. He noted that over 63 criminal camps have been dismantled and normalcy had returned to previously troubled areas.
The governor also promised that training and retraining of the Agunechemba Security Personnel in the state would be treated as top burner priority while more recruitment, motivation and encouragement of personnel would be undertaken in due time.
“Equally, the provision and deployment of Technological Intelligence gathering equipment would commence right away so as to make the security outfits more preemptive than reactive,” he said.
Soludo, then, praised the collaborative efforts of security agencies and community leaders in achieving these successes while urging Ndi Anambra to say something when they see something as security is a collective responsibility.
He further announced more Infrastructural developments, economic empowerment, sustained free healthcare services, free education and vocational trainings and empowerment for the youths and many more for Ndi Anambra in his second term.
Governor Soludo aims to consolidate his achievements and accelerate development, positioning Anambra as a leading model of sustainable growth in Nigeria.
