Chief of staff to former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Primus Odili has warmly congratulated Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha on her well-deserved appointment as the substantive Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
While speaking, Chief Odili praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for making an excellent choice, noting that Prof. Omenugha’s record as an accomplished scholar, visionary administrator, and former Commissioner for Education in Anambra State makes her perfect for the role.
He described her appointment as a testament to merit, competence, and the governor’s commitment to excellence in education.
Chief Odili highlighted Prof. Omenugha’s pioneering efforts in digital learning, teacher reforms, and community-based education policies during her tenure as Commissioner, He expressed confidence that her leadership will further elevate COOU’s academic standards, research output, and global reputation.
Chief Odili urged the university community—staff, students, and stakeholders to rally behind her to ensure even greater milestones. He emphasized that with her wealth of experience, innovative mindset, and passion for education, COOU is poised for unprecedented growth under her stewardship.
