The Faithspiration Initiative, a non-governmental and non-denominational organization, has provided financial empowerment to 30 youths from Anambra State and beyond, awarding them a total of N15 million.
The event, themed “Ablazed with the Fire of God,” was held at the Basilica Square of The Most Holy Trinity Basilica.
Previous editions of the Youth Forum took place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Odoakpu, Onitsha, and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Awka-Etiti. The initiative’s sponsors included Peter Obi, Presidential Candidate of the African Democratic Congress; Sly Ezeokenwa, National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance; Senator Victor Umeh; and Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, Member representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency.
In his address, Peter Obi emphasized the importance of investing the funds in meaningful ventures, prioritizing societal impact over wealth accumulation.
The event featured a range of activities, including comedy and gospel performances, as well as a paper presentation by Rev. Fr. Johnbosco Igwe on “Six Allegations Against Christianity in Igboland.”
