Easter Monday, a public holiday in Nigeria, is a day for relaxation, family gatherings, and reflection on love, sacrifice, and renewal. As Nigerians celebrate with loved ones, leaders like President Bola Tinubu and Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Soludo urge citizens to embrace love, compassion, and kindness, promoting community and national development.
Governor Soludo emphasized selfless love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and reconciliation, noting Easter as a symbol of redemption and renewal. He urged Christians to demonstrate genuine love, renew their commitment to Easter virtues, and work toward a just and harmonious society. Soludo prayed for renewed hope, peace, and illumination toward a more just society.
