The Chief Medical Director Beluchukwu Memorial Hospital Enugwu-Ukwu, Dr. Peter Tochukwu Mbachi is celebrating his birthday today June 7.
Born on the 7th day of June 1962, this quintessential medical expert who hails from Enugwu- Ukwu was a one time Anambra State Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association and currently a national officer of the Association.
He has impacted positively in the Nigerian Medical space like a colossus he is in capacities such as Building Committed NMA National (2010-2012), National Treasurer NMA(2010-2012), Chairman, Private Medical And Dental Practice Committee National NMA from 2012, Member Board of Management Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching hospital Nnewi (2009-2011), etc and has touched many lives.
An eminent medical guru, knight of the order of St. Paul Anglican Communion, and philanthropist par excellence, Dr. Mbachi has great passion for the medical profession and has saved many lives in his decades of medical practice.
As he Celebrates in this month of June, he has issued a strong passionate health appeal to the citizenry to be ever health conscious by regularly checking their blood pressure, fasting blood sugar, cholesterol checks, prostate status tests for males over 40 years and breast cancer tests for females in their 40s and above as well as other vital tests.
Worried by the high spate of deaths arising from stress, hypertension complications and other related illnesses, Dr. Mbachi urged for increased health awareness and for people to take advantage of the healthcare providers in their localities to assess health on time before it is too late.
The medical expert holds the traditional title of “Ayilinanya’ Enugu-Ukwu na Umu nri’ and is married with children.
