The Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu, has assured that Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration remains committed to the welfare and future of Anambra students.

Mr. Udechukwu gave the assurance when he received the leadership of the National Union of Anambra State Students (NUASS) in his office in Awka.

He highlighted government initiatives such as free education from kindergarten to senior secondary school, plans for a bursary scheme for university students, 1 Youth, 2 Skills initiative, and 1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe programme that offers free ICT training in coding, robotics, and digital entrepreneurship.

He further encouraged students to explore opportunities in fisheries, aquaculture, mining, and cooperatives, where both state and federal grants of up to ₦10 million are accessible to young entrepreneurs.

Speaking on behalf of NUASS, President, Comrade Felix Chimalie Nwachinemelu, a final-year Political Science student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, thanked the commissioner for his fatherly advice.

He commended Governor Soludo’s people-oriented policies and announced that the Union will soon host an academic colloquium titled “Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo Philosophy: Rethinking Developmental Governance” to model the Governor’s values and philosophy to the younger generation.

Nwachinemelu assured that the students’ community stands firmly with the Soludo administration for continuity and sustainability in governance.
