The Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHCDA) has marked its 2025 end of year with send forth ceremony/celebration and presentation of gifts to retired Staff and Directors of Primary Healthcare (PHC) from the various Local Government Health Authorities (LGHAs) of the State.
The Executive Secretary, ASPHCDA, Pharm Chisom Uchem during the end of year celebration thanked the Directors and Staff for all efforts and activities in the grassroots which aided in making 2025 a memorable year.
She expressed gratitude to God for his preservation and for wins of 2025 while noting that the end of year ceremony was to honour retired members of the Primary Healthcare Agency who has handed over the baton.
She prayed for opportunities for the retirees to excel more as they commence another phase in life.
Retired PHC Director, Onitsha North LGHA, Dr Johnson Ezedinachi while thanking God noted that the prayer of all workers was to retire in good health.
He admonished workers to always be in good relationships with their Superior, Colleagues and Subordinates while on the job.
Among the retirees celebrated include; Director, Disease Control and Immunization, ASPHCDA- Dr. Nnamdi Placid Uliagbafusi; former Director Community Health Services/PHC Director Awka South LGHA- Dr Frank Umeh; former PHC Director, Nijkoka LGHA- Dr Ikechukwu Obiudu, and former PHC Director, Idemili North LGHA- Mrs Chinyere Edeh.
Others include; Former PHC Director, Nnewi North LGHA- Mrs Ukpaka Francisca, former PHC Director, Nnewi South LGHA- Mrs Anthonia Nwachukwu; former PHC Director, Anambra West LGHA- Mr Peter Igwemma; former PHC Director, Idemili South LGHA- Mrs Florence Ojukwu, and former PHC Director, Oyi LGHA- Mrs Juliana Okoben,
Also; Former PHC Director, Ekwusigo LGHA- Mrs Uju Aganamma; former PHC Director, Anaocha LGHA- Mrs Theresa Onyekwelu; former PHC Director, Aguata LGHA- Mrs Vivian O. Chukwudebelu; former State Immunization Officer (SIO)- Mrs Nkechi Onwuvunka and ASPHCDA Staff- Mrs Theresa Okoye.
The event featured prayers, testimonies, and presentation of gifts to the retirees.
