The Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHCDA) has on July 27, joined well-wishers across the state to celebrate the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on the occasion of his 66th birthday.
The Agency, in a congratulatory message, described Governor Soludo as a visionary leader whose wealth of experience and expertise have continued to drive impactful reforms and sustainable development since he assumed office on March 17, 2022.
ASPHCDA noted that the Governor’s achievements, which earned him re-election for a second term in November 2025, reflect his commitment to improving the lives of Ndị Anambra through people-centred policies and programmes.
The Agency highlighted the administration’s infrastructural drive, including the Operation Zero Pothole initiative, which has contributed to improved road maintenance and enhanced connectivity across the state.
It also commended the Governor’s interventions in the education and health sectors, including the recruitment of teachers, introduction of free education for pupils and students, as well as increased investment in the healthcare system.
According to ASPHCDA, thousands of women across Anambra have benefited from the administration’s free antenatal and delivery services provided in public health facilities, reaffirming the government’s commitment to accessible and quality healthcare for residents.
The Agency stated that Governor Soludo’s vision of transforming Anambra into a livable and prosperous homeland, with the aspiration of making the state the “African Dubai-Taiwan-Silicon Valley,” continues to inspire development initiatives across sectors.
While celebrating the Governor, whom Ndị Anambra fondly honour as “Oluatuegwu,” ASPHCDA extended its warm felicitations to the Governor, his family, and the people of Anambra State.
The Agency prayed God to grant Prof. Soludo longer life, good health, peace, wisdom, and continued strength as he leads the state towards greater heights.
