The Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) has reminded the motorists to strictly comply with traffic regulations, particularly by observing all road signs.
In a public notice released on its official Facebook page on July 3, the agency emphasized that picking up or dropping off passengers in areas marked with a “No Parking” sign is a traffic violation and attracts appropriate sanctions under the state’s traffic laws.
ARTMA urged drivers to use only designated bus stops and approved parking areas when picking up or dropping off passengers. According to the agency, compliance with traffic signs promotes road safety, reduces congestion, ensuring the free flow of traffic across the state.
The agency called on all road users to play their part in maintaining order on the roads by respecting traffic rules and cooperating with traffic management officials.
