APGA RELEASES PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE FOR 2026 PRIMARY ELECTIONS

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in compliance with the Revised INEC Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2027 General Election dated February 26, 2026, and pursuant to its powers under the APGA Constitution 2019 and the Electoral Act 2026, has approved and released the provisional Timetable/Schedule of Activities for the 2026 Primary Elections for the nomination of APGA candidates in the 2027 General Election.

In a release signed by Mr. Ifeanyi Mbaeri, the National Organising Secretary of APGA, the purchase of expression of interest form, screening and return of form will take place from April, 20-May 21 while special ward congress/primary election and determination of appeals arising there from and ratification of nominated candidates will take place from May 25-May 30.

The release further noted that prospective aspirants shall first obtain the expression of interest form from the national secretariat of the party upon payment of procribed non-refundable fee as stipulated in the release.

In an accommodating spirit, the release gave special considerations to female aspirants and aspirants living with disabilities shall pay only 50% of the fees.
