The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has extended his congratulations to Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu on her designation as the substantive Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Barr. Ezeokenwa described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s competence, extensive diplomatic experience, and steadfast commitment to national service. He observed that her prior service as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs had adequately prepared her for the higher responsibility.
The APGA National Chairman further expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment, commending what he termed an inclusive approach to governance. He stated that the selection of a distinguished member of APGA for such a pivotal national office underscores a recognition of merit irrespective of political affiliation.
Barr. Ezeokenwa noted that the appointment comes at a crucial juncture in Nigeria’s foreign policy trajectory, emphasizing the imperative for renewed strategic engagement and effective diplomacy.
