The Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA) has congratulated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, on his 66th birthday, describing him as a transformational leader whose administration has recorded remarkable achievements across key sectors of the state’s economy.
In a goodwill message signed by the Executive Director of ANSACA, Dr. Nkem Okeke, the agency said the governor’s birthday provides an opportunity to reflect on his impactful leadership and the significant progress recorded under his administration over the past four years.
According to the statement, Governor Soludo has transformed critical sectors, including health, education, the environment, commerce, and infrastructure, with initiatives that have improved the lives of Ndi Anambra.
ANSACA particularly applauded the governor’s investments in the health sector, citing the construction and upgrading of health facilities, the provision of modern medical equipment, and the introduction of free delivery services for pregnant women, alongside other healthcare interventions targeted at women and children.
The agency commended Governor Soludo’s commitment to strengthening the fight against HIV in Anambra State, noting that his support has reinforced efforts to reduce new HIV infections and improve access to prevention, treatment, and care services.
Dr. Okeke stated that ANSACA is proud to identify with a leader who places the health and well-being of the people at the centre of governance.
He wished Governor Soludo good health, greater wisdom, and continued success as he leads Anambra State toward greater development.
