ANAZODO HOSTS ROTARY DISTRICT GOVERNOR ON COURTESY VISIT, REAFFIRMS ADMINISTRATION’S COMMITMENT TO SERVICE TO HUMANITY

The Mayor of Nnewi North Local Government Area, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, on 5th August, hosted the District 9142 Governor of Rotary International, Rotarian Chibuzor Asogwa, on a courtesy visit to his office.

The District Governor was in Nnewi North as part of his annual engagement tour across clubs in the district, an opportunity to interface with political leaders in the area.

During the visit, Hon. Anazodo reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to Service to Humanity through partnerships that promote health, education, community development, and youth empowerment in Nnewi North.

The District Governor commended the Mayor for his people-centered leadership and the visible transformation recorded in Nnewi North within a short period.

The highlight of the visit was the decoration of the Mayor as a Polio Ambassador.

Among the notable personalities in the delegation were Dr. Ugo Uzodike, Assistant Governor; PAG Tony Muodielo; Rotarian Tonybanks; Rotarian Obiora Aghazu; Rotarian Ada Edwards; Rotaractor Onyekachukwu Ogbuagu, ADRR Anambra Zone; and other top Rotary leaders.

The visit concluded with a call for stronger collaboration between the Local Government and Rotary International to deliver more humanitarian projects to Ndi Nnewi North.
