As the Muslim faithful mark the end of fast with the celebration of Eid El Fitri, The Mayor of Anaocha LGA Hon. Rome Ibekwe has felicitated with the Muslim community in Anaocha on the completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
He commended them for their discipline, devotion, sacrifice, compassion, and commitment to spiritual values of faith evident through their life style throughout Ramadan.
Hon. Ibekwe enjoined the faithfuls to see the celebration as a period of sober reflection , gratitude and renewed commitment to the values of love, tolerance and mutual respect for people from different Religions backgrounds.
He reaffirmed his commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence and inclusiveness in Governance and community development across the Local Government.
