The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Comrade Nwebili, has reaffirmed the commitment of Anambra youths to supporting the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo in advancing youth development and the overall progress of the state.
Nwebili said this on Aug. 14, when he led members of the APGA National Youth Executive Committee to the Anambra State House of Assembly on a courtesy and partnership visit to the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze.
He explained that the visit was aimed at formally introducing members of his team, fostering stronger relationships with the legislative arm of government, and learning from the speaker’s leadership experience.
According to him, as an indigene of Ogbaru, he regarded the speaker as a father and leader from whom the younger generation could gain valuable knowledge on leadership and public service.
Nwebili described Udeze as one of the key contributors to the achievements of the Soludo administration, particularly through legislative interventions and policies aimed at improving opportunities for young people.
He commended the speaker and members of the house for their role in supporting youth focused initiatives, noting that Anambra youths were ready to contribute their energy, ideas and skills towards the continued development of the state.
“I am here as an indigene to see my father, learn from Mr speaker about good leadership and also to partner with the Soludo Administration. We are ready to contribute our quota towards taking Anambra to greater heights,” he said.
The APGA National Youth Leader appreciated the staff of the Anambra State House of Assembly for their support and cooperation with his late mother, who previously served as speaker of the house, during her tenure.
He said the partnership between young people and government was important for building a stronger future for Anambra, stressing that youths should not only benefit from government programmes but also play an active role in shaping the state’s development.
The visit ended with a renewed call for stronger collaboration between the state’s political leadership and young people in advancing policies and programmes that promote empowerment, participation and inclusive development.
