The Anambra State Government will mark the 2026 Public Service Day on Friday, November 20, bringing together public servants across the state.

This was contained in a circular released by the Office of the Head of Service on November 5 and signed by the Head of Service, Ngozi Anuli Iwouno, Esq., mni.

The celebration, approved by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, will hold at the Jerome Udoji Secretariat Complex, Awka, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

The event is designed to recognise and celebrate the contributions of Anambra State public servants toward the development and progress of the state.

Governor Soludo will attend as Special Guest of Honour and interact with public servants during the celebration.

Highlights of the event will include the presentation of awards and trophies to deserving public servants in recognition of their outstanding performance.

The celebration will also feature the official launch of the Anambra State Public Service Anthem, marking another milestone in the state’s public service reforms.

The circular directed all Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies to give the invitation wide publicity and ensure their staff attend, as participation in the celebration is mandatory.
