The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Sen. Emmanuel C. Nwachukwu, has extended warm Father’s Day greetings to fathers, guardians and father figures across the district, commending their invaluable contributions to family and societal development.
In a goodwill message issued to mark the occasion on June 21, Sen. Nwachukwu praised fathers for their sacrifices, commitment and dedication to raising families and shaping responsible citizens. He described fathers as the bedrock of strong families, noting that their guidance, protection and support remain essential to the growth of peaceful and prosperous communities.
The senator stressed that fatherhood transcends biological ties, describing it as a sacred responsibility that demands leadership, integrity, patience and selflessness. He applauded fathers in Anambra South for their role in nurturing responsible children, preserving cultural and moral values, and contributing to peace, stability and development within society.
Sen. Nwachukwu urged fathers and father figures to continue exemplifying virtues such as hard work, discipline, compassion and love for humanity, emphasising the need to inspire younger generations through exemplary conduct.
“As we celebrate this special occasion, I encourage all fathers and father figures to remain worthy examples to the younger generation, helping to shape a future built on sound values and responsible leadership,” he said.
He also offered prayers for God’s continued blessings upon fathers, asking for good health, strength and long life as they carry out their responsibilities and wished fathers a memorable celebration.
