Anambra residents are hailing Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s impressive development record as he takes the oath of office for a second term. The ceremony, held at Alex Ekwueme Square, drew a massive crowd, showcasing the people’s support and enthusiasm.
Soludo’s first term saw significant breakthroughs, and residents are eager to see his continued leadership.
Amaka Uzozie, a Civil Servant praised the commitment of the governor to the delivery on his mandate while optimistic that Ndi Anambra have just seen only the tip of the iceberg. “It’s a moment of great pride and joy. We’re excited to see what the next four years hold.”

The President General, Umunze Progressive Union, Engr. Ezekiel Onyinyechukwu Iheazar, expressed his delight with the transformation of the Awka capital territory and other areas of the state, alluding this to the delivery on the promises made by the Governor, Prof. Soludo while confident that the next four years would even be better.
“Soludo’s Magic” continues to transform Anambra, says Miss Chioma Nwankwo, a beneficiary of the 1Youth 2 Skills Acquisition and Support Program. She praised Governor Soludo’s administration, wishing he could continue “perpetually till forever” due to its impact on security and youth empowerment.

“Governor Soludo’s administration has been magical. We’ve seen significant improvements in security and opportunities for young people like me.”
Pastor David Nwali, a keke rider said, “Soludo’s touch” eases keke riders’ burden. He thanked Governor Soludo for making their business easier. Soludo’s administration had previously removed touts who extorted money from tricyclists, a move that has benefited riders.
“We appreciate what you’ve done for us. May God continue to protect you as you continue to do good.”
However, Pastor Nwali requested a standard keke park at Aroma, as riders currently use a private compound. He urged government to consider providing better facilities for keke riders.
The swearing-in ceremony was a testament to Soludo’s popularity and the trust the people have in his leadership. As he embarks on his second term, residents expect more development and progress in Anambra State.
