Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Pius Okoye, has expressed deep appreciation and unwavering support following the presentation of the 2026 Appropriation Bill by His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, during plenary session on November 25.
The budget, themed “Changing Gear 3.0 – Solution Continues”, marks another milestone in the administration’s progressive journey.
In his remarks, the Deputy Speaker described the presentation as a clear reaffirmation of Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership, rooted in accountability, innovation, and people-centered development. He lauded the Governor for sustaining a governance style that prioritizes the welfare and future of Ndi Anambra.
Rt. Hon. Okoye noted that the 2026 budget reflects a strategic shift into higher momentum for the Solution Agenda, aimed at accelerating development across key sectors, emphasizing that the Governor’s commitment to measurable impact and transformational policies continues to inspire public confidence and collective optimism.
“Under the capable leadership of Mr. Governor, Anambra State is not just progressing, but doing so with purpose, clarity, and visible results. This budget is more than numbers; it is a bold statement of direction, anchored in service, sincerity, and long-term prosperity for our people.”
He further affirmed the legislature’s readiness to work collaboratively with the executive arm to ensure effective implementation of the budget for the greater good of the state.
