The Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Mrs. Chinyere Esther Onyekesi, has on Oct 14 appealed to members of the public to help locate the family of a stranded woman, Ezennanya Happiness, who was brought back from Lagos State with her newborn baby.
Onyekesi said the woman, who is from Anambra State, had been unable to provide sufficient information about her home and family background, making it difficult for authorities to trace her relatives.
The commissioner called on residents and other members of the public to circulate the information to help reunite the woman and her baby with their family.
According to her, the woman recalled attending Awka Community Primary School and worshipping at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Awka.
She urged anyone with useful information about Ezennanya Happiness or her family to contact the Anambra State Ministry of Women and Social Welfare to assist in the search and facilitate her reunion with her relatives.
