The Anambra State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, has charged staff of the Ministry of Justice to demonstrate greater commitment, consistency and dedication in the discharge of their official responsibilities.
Nweke gave the charge on Sept. 8, during an inspection tour of the ministry of justice.
Speaking during the exercise, the Attorney General emphasised that punctuality, consistency and dedication to duty are critical to enhancing productivity and ensuring effective service delivery.
He urged the staff to uphold the established standards, ethics and professionalism expected of public servants, stressing that commitment to duty remains essential to the efficient functioning of the ministry.
Barr. Nweke explained that the inspection was undertaken to assess staff attendance, punctuality and the level of activities being carried out across the ministry, while also identifying challenges that could hinder effective service delivery.
He encouraged the staff to remain focused and committed to their respective responsibilities, urging them to contribute meaningfully to the overall effectiveness and success of the ministry.
The commissioner reiterated the importance of maintaining high standards in public service, noting that a dedicated and disciplined workforce is essential to achieving the objectives of the ministry and delivering quality justice services to the people of Anambra State.
