The Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AIRS) has deployed a unified hybrid enforcement team, known as AIRs, to maintain order and safety on the state’s roads. Team leader, Mr. Akachukwu Henry Nwankwo, said that AIRs are responsible for ensuring transportation vehicles, including buses and large trailers, comply with regulations.
Commander Afumuafuna Nwanali emphasized that AIRS monitor compliance in and enforce traffic laws, contributing to the community’s wellbeing. To enhance efficiency, AIRS has introduced an online H-code payment system, allowing vehicles to remit payment for compliance enforcement.
This innovative approach simplifies payments, enhances accountability, and streamlines regulation enforcement in Anambra State, fostering a safer and more organized transport environment.
