We are opening up Agrarian communities ... Gov. Obiano

Awka, April 6, 2018 -- As the inspection tour of the road construction by Gov. Willie Obiano intensifies, the Gov. visited the access road and bridge from Umueje to Oil well rig at Aguleri Otu.
At the site, the Gov. said he was happy to inspect the hosting of the 4th beam and that the contractor has promised to complete the bridge in less than 3months so that Umueje and the surrounding communities can have access to evacuate their farm produce.
Gov. Obiano equally stated that the bridge and road when completed will give easy access to the Oil Rig at Aguleri Otu. The governor assured that because of the speed of the river, government will harness it to generate electricity for Umueje and surrounding communities.
The Hon. Commissioner for Works, Engr Marcel Anekwe Ifejiofor in his comment, promised to ensure strict supervision by the Ministry's engineers to ensure that standard, is not compromised.
The traditional ruler of Umueje, Igwe Elias thanked the governor for visiting the project for the third time promised that the people of the area will always support his administration to succeed.Engr. Chami. the CEO of Estrada Const. Ltd assured the governor that the project will be completed in record time. He thanked the Gov for believing in the company to deliver quality job.
