Onitsha March 10, 2019 (MOI) Regina Pacis Model School, Onitsha on March 7, celebrated their success as World champions at the Technovation at the school compound.

Archbishop of Onitsha Metropolitan Most Rev. Valerian M Okeke was there for his pastoral visit and the celebration as well.

During his homily, he thanked the Almighty God, who did the good work for the students and mentor that went to Francisco, U.S. in 2018 for the Technovation world competition.

They brought home five gold medals as the first position in the entire world, saying they should hold on to the good work.

Archbishop Valerian hailed the students and gave a N100, 000 each to the six students, who won the medal and N100, 000 to their mentor, Mrs Uche Onwuamaegbu as well as donating 10 laptops.

The Bishop gave N10, 000 each to the teachers of the school.

Archbishop Valerian also gave another student scholarship for answering the question he posed during his homily.

Gov. Willie Obiano thanked the students, encouraging them to put in their best in their studies.

Prof. Kate Omenugha, the Commissioner for Basic Education represented the Governor. (MOI)
