ANAMBRA TRADITIONAL RULERS COUNCIL EXECUTIVE VISITS SSG NNAKE, REAFFIRM PARTNERSHIP WITH ANAMBRA GOVERNMENT

In a move to deepen collaboration between traditional institutions and the government, the Executive members of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council paid a congratulatory courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, at her office in Awka.
The visit, which took place on April 22, was part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and foster a cordial working relationship between the Council and key government functionaries in Anambra State.
Speaking during the visit, the leadership of the Council congratulated the SSG on her appointment and commended the administration of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for its commitment to inclusive governance and community engagement. They emphasized the critical role of traditional institutions in promoting peace, unity, and grassroots development across the state.
The traditional rulers also reaffirmed their readiness to support government policies and programmes aimed at improving the welfare of the people, noting that sustained collaboration between the government and traditional institutions remains vital for achieving lasting progress.

In her response, Mrs. Nnake expressed appreciation to the Council for the visit and their show of goodwill. She acknowledged the importance of traditional rulers as custodians of culture and key partners in governance, assuring them of the government’s willingness to maintain open channels of communication and cooperation.
The meeting concluded with mutual assurances of continued partnership to advance peace, security, and development across communities in Anambra State.
