ONITSHA SOUTH APGA CHAIRMAN CHARGES MEMBERS ON NEW PARTY ON-GOING REGISTRATION

The Onitsha South Local Government, All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Chairman, Chief Uche Umeh, has charged party members on the ongoing new party registration, reiterated on the need for each person to deem it fit to mobilise new members for the upcoming governorship election which is slated on Nov 2025.
Speaking at the Council Secretariat with the Council Mayor and the 17 wards chairmen of the council, Chief Umeh said that the brain child of the meeting was to ensure that all members both old and new are registered, especially those that attained 18 years this year.
The Mayor, Chief Emeka Orji reiterated on his resolve to make sure that all the roads that needed palliative attention are attended to in no distance time, saying that Modebe Avenue took a lot of materials meant for other roads due to its kilometer measurement.
He also used the opportunity to inform them of his readiness to recover all the government properties which were fraudulently allocated to individuals, maintaining that no amount of bribery or blackmail would stop him from doing the right thing.
Reacting, the Chairman Odoakpu ward 7, Hon. Hilary Ojukwu on behalf of other Chairmen thanked Chief Orji for his relentless efforts in recovery of government properties.
Other important issues were also discussed and attended to, for the development of the party both at the state, local government and ward levels.
