JUBILATION AS GOVERNMENT RECONSTRUCTS DILAPIDATED ODETEMAKA LINK BRIDGE IN ANAMBRA WEST LGA

It was an atmosphere of jubilation and celebration as men, women, and youth of Nzam and Olumbanasa communities in Anambra West LGA, showered praises on Governor Chukwuma Soludo for reconstructing the dilapidated Odetemaka bridge.

The bridge, which link Nzam community to Olumbanasa communities has brought a surge of relief and excitement among residents, who have endured the inconveniences caused by the dilapidated structure for years.

Sharing his excitement, when the inspection team ably led by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Tony Collins Nwabunwanne visited the project, an elderly man from Nzam, Mr Mike Obelue said,

“We have suffered for years due to the bad state of this bridge. Our children could not easily go to school, farmers could not transport their produce, and health emergencies became a nightmare.

“But today, Soludo has wiped our tears. He is our messiah, and we will give him our full support in the coming election.” he said.

Also, a community leader from Olumbanasa community, Mr John Onyekwelu said,

“Governor Soludo is working like no other. He has no opponent in the election because his good works speak for him.

“With people like Chief Nwabunwanne and Mayor Nnazor working with him, Anambra West is finally on the path to real development.” he added.

Addressing the exciting crowd, Mr. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne reaffirmed the government’s dedication to ensuring that no part of Anambra is left behind in Soludo’s Solution Agenda.

He further emphasized that Mr. Governor’s policies are people-driven, with a focus on enhancing the livelihoods of ndi Anambra.

On his part, the Anambra West Mayor, Mr. Fidelis Nnazor said that Anambra West is witnessing unprecedented development under Governor Soludo’s administration.

He explained that the reconstruction of the Odeteamata bridge is proof that the government of Governor Soludo listens to the people, and assured the communities that more projects would follow, further solidifying the local council place in the governor’s developmental roadmap.

The event concluded with traditional dances, songs of gratitude, and renewed political support for Soludo’s re-election bid.
