ONITSHA COMMUNITY HONORS LATE THEOPHILUS OSELEOKA ORANWUSI

The Onitsha community came together to bid farewell to the late Theophilus Oseleoka Oranwusi, a retired police officer, at a solemn burial Mass held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Onitsha.
Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, Mayor of Onitsha North Local Government Area, joined family, friends and dignitaries to pay their last respects to the deceased. Mayor Nwora eulogized the late Theophilus Oranwusi, highlighting his exemplary service to the nation and his family.
“Theophilus Oranwusi was a shining example of dedication, discipline, and selflessness. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come,” Mayor Nwora said.
The well-attended funeral mass was officiated by Most Rev. Dr. Anslem Umoren, Auxiliary Bishop of the Abuja Catholic Archdiocese. The deceased was survived by seven children, including CP Obiora Oranwusi, his eldest son.
Prominent personalities, including Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, and Hon. Sir Ifeanyi Chinweze, Mayor of Anambra East LGA, were in attendance to pay their last respects.
As the Onitsha community bids farewell to this respected public servant, his contributions to the nation and his community will be remembered and cherished.
