EKWULOBIA COMMUNITY LAUDS GOVERNOR SOLUDO’S DEVELOPMENT STRIDES

The people of Ekwulobia in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State have commended Governor Soludo for his impressive project development achievements in the area. This commendation came when journalists from the Ministry of Information, Film Department toured various construction sites in Ekwulobia, witnessing firsthand the progress made.

Speaking during the visit, the President-General of Ekwulobia Town Union, Nze Azubuike Ezechukwu stated that Soludo becoming the governor of Anambra State has changed the face of Ekwulobia Town to a city ranging from the flyover located at Ekwulobia Park which according to him is a signature’s project to the governor.

Nze Ezechukwu noted that the Modern Bus Termina and lots of other facilities like the Construction of Tower, Solution Park and Markets, Stadium Complex which features Leisure Park and Indoor Games as well as road constructions in various localities in Ekwulobia were typical examples of Governor Soludo pointer to a new dawn in Aguata.

He prayed for continuity, assuring Governor Soludo’s led administration 100 percent votes from Ekwulobia people as he has impressed the people in the area greatly.

The Onowu of Ekwulobia, Ichie Cyprian Ugochukwu Ezeofor, expressed his gratitude for the newly constructed flyover, which has significantly reduced road traffic and accidents in the area. He explained that previously, Ekwulobia faced numerous challenges, including road congestion, accidents, and traffic jams, which negatively impacted the local market.

Ichie Ezeofor also recalled that before Governor Soludo took office, the former traditional ruler of Ekwulobia, Igwe Emmanuel Chukwukadibia Onyeneke, bestowed upon him the title “Chi na-nweta ife” of Ekwulobia. This title, meaning “the light,” has proven fitting, as Governor Soludo’s actions have brought illumination and progress to Ekwulobia Town and the entire Anambra State.

The Traditional Ruler of Ekwulobia, His Royal Highness, Igwe Ezeobi Edward Obiechina appreciated Governor Soludo for being a master planner for development and encouraged him not to relent in actualizing his dreams for the state amidst the economic hardship.

A stakeholder, Chief Titus Anigbogu  expressed his admiration for Governor Soludo’s impressive achievements in road dualization, citing the rapid progress made in various areas, including Ekwulobia, Agulu-Enu-Okija, and Amawbia to Uga. 

Chief Anigbogu noted that the governor’s efforts have brought tangible solutions, with the Ekwulobia roundabout flyover being a notable example. He commended Governor Soludo’s performance during his first term and expressed optimism about his future prospects, predicting that he will continue to excel, just as he did during his tenure as a consultant with the World Bank, Malaysia, and other countries.

He thanked God for the governor’s leadership, praying for his continued success in completing his projects.

The Chief Medical Officer in charge of General Hospital, Ekwulobia, Dr. Patrick Okpalanwa confessed that the hospital wears a new look due to the governor’s goodwill, admitting that it is well equipped with all the necessary facilities and manpower. He thanked Governor Soludo for the maternity department which he said delivery is now offered free of charge as well as free surgery among others.

A woman who just delivered a baby in the hospital, Mrs Blessing Agu thanked Governor Soludo for offering pregnant women free delivery and prayed that God should continue to bless him for having both the poor and the rich in mind.

 A villager from Agba Village in Ekwulobia, Mr. Ejike Kingsley commended the governor for constructing roads that key locations in the area such as Ezeyi Street to Delight International Secondary School,  Catholic Bishop Cult and New Market Road, Ekwulobia as well as Isuofia to Agba Village Hall and the General Hospital.

One of the market stakeholders,  Mr. Phillip Chijioke Ezegbu, expressed joy for the governor’s development strides, describing him as the best governor the state has seen.

Speaking in their different site locations, Mr Emmanuel Nnaji, the Senior Engineer in charge of the Solution Modern Market construction pointed out that the project will be very beneficial to all because it aimed at bringing everyone together and assured that the work will be completed by end of April. 

 Mr. Chidolue Chukwunonso who is in charge of the Solution Ultra Modern Park of Crystal Dove Construction Limited explained that plastering work is at 98 percent and will be completed by 29th of February. He described Governor Soludo as a visionary person.

Engineer Lewis Osuwa in charge of the Stadium Construction noted that “this is the first time in history such project is being constructed in the state” and praised Governor Soludo for always keeping to his words.
