IYCON BOSS, EJIM UCHEAGWU, COMPLEMENTS SOLUDO’S YOUTH AGENDA WITH N250 MILLION EMPOWERMENT FLAG-OFF IN NNEWI

The Nnewi Youth Forum on March 29, launched the 2026 second edition of the Nnewi Youth Mega Empowerment Scheme, a N250 million annual training programme at Igwe Kenneth Orizu III Palace with a start-up grant of N1 million for each deserving youth from Nnewi.

The programme aims to produce a new generation of skilled self-employed youths and manpower in Nnewi for human capital development and socio-economic upliftment of Nnewi and Anambra State.
The programme is sponsored by Chief Ifeanyi Ekwulugwo of IYCON Charity Foundation in conjunction with Nnewi Youth Forum and the Anglican Diocese of Nnewi Vocational and Technical Academy.

The Chairman of Nnewi North LG, Hon. Echezona Anazodo, commended the Partners for their efforts in empowering youths, saying that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has set the pace for all-round development of the state with premium on provision of skills and tools for youth engagement.
The President of Nnewi Youth Forum, Hon. Ejim Ucheagwu, welcomed guests and thanked the Mayor for his support, saying the programme is a flagship empowerment scheme for Nnewi Youths, single-handedly sponsored by Chief Ifeanyi Ekwulugwo.

The Anglican Bishop of Nnewi Diocese, Rt Rev Ndubuisi Obi, praised the efforts of IYCON Charity Foundation and Nnewi Youth Forum in empowering youths.
One of the beneficiaries, Lotanna Aghamelu, thanked the Partners for changing her life through the programme.
The Chairman of IYCON Charity Foundation, Hon. John Ejizu, said Chief Ifeanyi Ekwulugwo is committed to investing in young minds and seeing them succeed.
The event ended with the official unveiling of the application portal.
