‎By Nkiru Anakor

‎The Catholic Men Organization (CMO) of SS John and Paul Catholic Church, Iba Pope Awada, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State, has conferred the prestigious Nna Di Orama title on Chief Sir Louis Nworah, popularly known as “Umeakuli,” in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the growth of the Organization and the Church.

‎The conferment took place shortly after a special Holy Mass commemorating the 40th anniversary of the CMO in the parish.

‎Chief Sir Nworah, a pioneer member of the Organization and an indigene of Osumenyi in Nnewi South LGA, described the honour as a call to greater service to God and humanity. “This honour serves as motivation for me to do more in the service of God and the Church. To whom much is given, much is expected,” he stated.

‎He enjoined well-meaning individuals to support the work of God and encouraged eligible men to become members of the Organization.

‎Earlier, the Secretary General of the CMO, Mr. Christian Eluka, disclosed that the body was established in 1986 by a few dedicated members. He noted that attracting younger men remains a major challenge confronting the Organization. He further solicited support for the procurement of an Evangelical Mission Bus valued at N50 million.

‎Other dignitaries honoured at the ceremony included High Chief Innocent Nzubechukwu, Hon. Lynda Ikpeazu, High Chief Val Ozigbo, and Chief Esotu Emeka, among others. The event also featured the installation of Grand Patrons, Patrons, and CMO Ambassadors.
