CHIEF DOZIE OKOLO HONOURED AT DEDICATION OF ST. PAUL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, UFUMA

High Chief Dozie Donat Okolo, has reiterated his commitment to the service of God, the catholic church and community development after being honoured as Chairman of the occasion at the dedication of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Ufuma, in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The dedication ceremony, held on Aug. 23, was performed by the Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, His Eminence Peter Ebere Cardinal Okpaleke, and featured prayers, thanksgiving and celebrations attended by clergy, parishioners, community leaders and other guests.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Okolo expressed appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the church. He said supporting worthy projects and serving God remained important aspects of his personal commitment.
He encouraged parishioners, individuals and other supporters of the church to continue contributing to the development of the parish, particularly its evangelisation and infrastructural projects.
As part of his support for the project, Chief Dozie made a significant financial contribution towards the construction of sections of the church, further demonstrating his commitment to the development of the parish.
The occasion also highlighted his longstanding association with the catholic church and his contributions to community development. It was disclosed that the St. Paul’s Church dedication marked the third occasion on which he had been honoured to serve as chairman of a parish dedication ceremony in Orumba.
His participation was described as another demonstration of his philosophy of faith, service and generosity, particularly his support for initiatives aimed at promoting the spiritual and physical development of communities.
The ceremony attracted clergy, parishioners, traditional and community leaders, family members, friends and well-wishers, who joined the catholic community to celebrate the dedication of the new church.
