APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN VISITS SHANAHAN UNIVERSITY, APPLAUDS ARCHBISHOP’S ROLE IN EDUCATIONAL ADVANCEMENT

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has commended the Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of the Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, Most Rev. Dr. Valerian Maduka Okeke, for his significant contributions to education, particularly in the establishment of Shanahan University, Onitsha.  

During his visit to the University, Ezeokenwa praised the Archbishop’s vision and dedication, emphasizing that his commitment to education is a transformative force shaping society and securing a brighter future for generations to come.  

Accompanied by the Mayor of Onitsha North LGA, Hon. Nweze Tony Nwora, the APGA Chairman also lauded the Vice Chancellor of Shanahan University, Prof. Obi Oguejiofor, for his efforts in promoting academic excellence and institutional development. He acknowledged the Vice Chancellor’s leadership in creating an environment that fosters intellectual growth and strong moral values, positioning the University as a center for knowledge and innovation.  

Reaffirming APGA’s commitment to education, Ezeokenwa highlighted the party’s alignment with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision for educational transformation in Anambra State. 

He stressed that education remained a fundamental pillar for sustainable development and assured continued advocacy for policies that support academic excellence and youth empowerment.  

Expressing confidence in Shanahan University’s potential, he encouraged students to maximize the opportunities provided by the institution, which he believed is set to become a hub for academic and national development.  

The visit further underscores APGA’s dedication to fostering collaborations that enhance quality education and human capital development in the state.
